What are the commonly used papers for packaging boxes?

1. Single copper paper

The packaging boxes made of this paper are commonly referred to as paper boxes. The packaging boxes produced with this paper are suitable for multiple industries, such as electronic products, daily necessities, food, cosmetics, mobile phone accessories, computer accessories, toys, Bluetooth devices, adult products, etc., covering almost all industries. It is the most commonly used paper in our production of packaging boxes.

2. Double copper paper

This type of paper is usually used for gift packaging boxes. It needs to be bonded with 1200 grams of cardboard to make it. Generally, the products that use it are luxury goods, health products, alcohol, gifts, electronic products, watches, necklaces, jewelry, and other precious products. These are the packaging boxes made of this type of double copper paper. Similarly, our instruction manual also uses double copper paper for printing and production. The difference between double copper paper and single copper paper is that, Double copper paper is softer and can be printed on both sides, but single copper paper is harder and most of it is printed on one side, with only a few choosing double-sided printing. Because the back of single copper paper is not as smooth, the printing effect is not as good as that of double copper paper. 

3. Powder gray paper

Pink paper is basically used for pit paper packaging boxes. Its function is to print content, then mount it on a layer of pit paper, and then use this pit paper to produce packaging boxes. Due to its low price, pink paper can improve hardness after mounting pit paper, effectively protecting products. Therefore, many furniture products choose this paper to produce packaging boxes. The only drawback is that the printing effect is not as good as single copper paper The effect of double copper paper.

4. Special paper

Special paper, as the name suggests, is a type of paper with special patterns and colors. It is commonly used on gift packaging boxes and can also be directly printed for the production of cardboard boxes. Its advantages are prominent colors and patterns, distinctive features, and relatively high-end. However, its disadvantages are high prices and minimum order quantity requirements. Therefore, in cases where the quantity is not large, we do not recommend using special paper printing because it is too expensive.

5. Gold and silver cardboard

Gold and silver cardboard is also considered a special type of paper, including gold and silver cardboard, which are mostly used for packaging of card boxes, such as USB drives, electronic products, health products, skincare products, and other products. Its advantages are surface reflection, bright light effect, and the use of reverse UV printing during printing, giving it a strong sense of luxury.

6. Cattle cardboard

Kraft paper is actually a type of cardboard in the color of kraft paper, which is also used for producing cardboard boxes. Its advantage is that it comes with the color of kraft paper and has high hardness. It is usually used in some daily necessities, tea, hardware, parts and other products. The disadvantage is that the printing effect is poor. If it is printing graphics, text, etc., there is no problem, but if it is printing product images, pictures, etc., the effect is not as good. Therefore, most of the product images in our common kraft paper production packaging boxes are line drawings, because if printed on kraft paper, the line drawings are clearer than the actual pictures.

7. Corrugated cardboard

This type of paper is commonly used in the production of cardboard boxes, which are made of materials such as 2-layer corrugated or 3-layer corrugated, such as transport boxes or outer boxes. Generally, the loaded products are already packaged, and then the outer boxes are packaged.
